 There are lots of applications and websites
that will not work unless you have Java
installed, and more are created every day.

First of all java is a open source programming
language created by Sun Microsoft overtaken by
oracle .Its source code is available for free inside
every JDK ( Java Development Kit)

independent means java can run on any
computer irrespective to the hardware and
software dependency. Means Java does not
depend on hardware means what type of
processor , RAM etc. Java will run on a machine
which will satisfy its basic needs .

language, or a organization wants to use a
technology, COST is an important factor. Since
Java is free from start, i.e. you don't need to pay
anything to create Java application. This FREE
thing also helped Java to become popular among
individual programmers, and among large
organizations. Availability of Java programmers
is another big think, which makes organization to
choose Java for there strategic development.


Check the machines browsers with version.
 It must be Internet Explorer 8 & 9.
 If the version is higher than IE 8 & 9 then
downgrade it to IE 8 or 9.
 Try to open ERP pages, sometimes it resolves
the Java issue.
 If not, then check whether Java utility is
installed or not .If installed check the
version.




We have some recommended java utilities to install. There Java 6
update 7, Java 6 update 20, Java 6 update 31.
First install IE 8 with Java 6 update 7.If problem persists try with another
one . Trial with all Java utilities with both browser and try to resolve the
issue.
If again problem persists then some settings are there for your browser
like below:

IE-> Tools-> Internet Option-> Check proxy Setting it must be
unchecked.
 Tools-> Compatibility View setting-> add this website, add
optcl.com & optcl.co.in. Check[√] display intranet sites in
compatibility view.
 Go to control panel-> Java-> General-> setting-> Delete file -> ok.
It ill delete all temporary files of Java.
 Right click on My Computer-> Properties -> Advanced setting ->
Advanced-> Environment Variable check in Environment Variable
Dialog Box wether Java Home is there or not if not go to my
computer-> C-> Program Files-> Java->jre6->bin. Copy that path &
return to Environment Variable window -> New varaible name as (
JAVA_HOME) and Variable Value as the copied path.

session should make the latest installed version of Java
active in your browser.
Note: If you are still prompted to update, try restarting
your system. Some systems need a restart to register
the newly installed Java plugin.
 Give
permission to run Java, when
prompted by the browser
 Browsers will ask for your permission to run
the Java plug-in in the browser. The
permission prompts vary according to the
browser.
 Clear
the Java cache (temporary) files
 Sometimes
a corrupted file in the Java
cache can prevent an application from
running. You can safely delete the
temporary files that Java downloads since
Java will download them again and ensure
