OPPORTUNITIES TO GET INVESTED
SOLID is our Friday Night Open Youth Group.
We meet from 7-9pm each week, with two
teams working alternate Fridays.
Amazing Opportunities
We are looking for people to get invested in
these Friday evening sessions on a
fortnightly basis.
We are SO blessed to have a thriving Youth Ministry here at Christ Church, and as the
new school year approaches there are some AMAZING opportunities opening up
to get invested in this exciting area of our family life.
Youth Ministry at Christ Church exists to REACH young people and provide a
place of BELONGING in Gods family where they can EXPRESS their
relationship with God and become EQUIPPED to LIVE for God and reach their
fullest POTENTIAL.
We are looking for people to join the Youth Ministry Team in all kinds of roles in
order to press into all that God is calling us to over the coming year. There are
opportunities to invest in the lives of our young people on many levels and with
as much or as little time as you have to give.
Are you excited about what God is doing in and through our Young People? Are
you passionate about seeing them grow into all they are purposed for in Christ?
Then why not join the team! You will get support, encouragement, training and
mentoring where you need it, and all kinds of opportunities to grow in ministry
whether you have 2 or 20 hours a month to invest in our young people!
Overleaf are a number of opportunities to get involved and be a part of the
exciting things that God is breathing life into. Please have a read of these, pray,
and fill in the form opposite…then hand it in to the office for the attention of
Claire.
Filling in this form is the first step in joining the Youth Ministry Team. It’s not
committing you to anything! Claire will be in contact with you over the summer to
speak to you more, help you explore options and work out the most effective
place for you to serve.
We hope you’re as excited as we are about all God is going to call us to join Him
in building for the Kingdom.

Opportunities are available for people to be involved in: General
leadership/helping/relational outreach; Registration and staffing
the shop; Football/Sports ministry; Creative Arts.
CELLGROUPS are our
midweek small discipleship
groups.
We have 3 Cells: Yr 7-9, yr 10-11, 6th Form.
Cells meet weekly for community time, worship, getting into
Gods Word and supporting each other in the Jesus-Way of
doing life.
We’re looking for leaders who can connect with the young
people where they are at, and walk with them in their journey.
People who understand some of what it means to be a
teenager in this fast-paced, digital world, and who can stand
with them and cheer them on as they follow in the Jesus way.
We’re looking for at least 3 new leaders across all of our cell
age groups.
