It will be used by the Child Care Centre, for the purpose of evaluating and improving our quality of service. The information will be protected in compliance with the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act of Alberta. The information will be disclosed to Alberta Child Care Accreditation Program (ACCAP). This information will be retained for a period of three years at which time it will be destroyed in a secure manner. The Day Care Centre at Red Deer College has been selected to participate in a pilot program for the Alberta Child Care Accreditation Program (ACCAP). The purpose of accreditation is to ensure a high quality service to children and families. We are currently in the process of looking closely at all aspects of our centre’s operation including policies and procedures, activities, communication, facilities, and governance. This survey asks for your feedback on various areas that will be addressed during the accreditation process. Please take a few moments to complete the questionnaire. I feel welcome visiting the centre at any time. I believe that the staff keep me well-informed about my child(ren)’s day to day experiences at the centre.
