What We Do
A comprehensive, age appropriate, progressive online
safety curriculum including:
• A 6 session PSHE tutor time programme (differentiated by year).
• eSafety covered in Computing curriculum (differentiated by year).
• We cover eSafety in many curriculum areas (One example: teaching
students how to evaluate sources when using the internet in subjects
such as History).
• We give termly assemblies on eSafety and give additional assembly on
safer internet day.
• We regularly update parents using Parentmail, Edmodo, social media and
host meetings on site providing eSafety advice.
• Our eSafety officer is Richard Kirkby. We have an eSafety committee
where staff meet once a term to discuss eSafety.
• We have an eSafety policy which is available on our website.
• We continuously monitor all systems used and pick up on any misuse.
• Our website has a specific page dedicated to eSafety –
