In this talk, based upon his widely praised new biography, author Richard Davenport-Hines

20th century – John Maynard Keynes.
A year before the anniversary of his death, he is now commemorated in Richard DavenportHines's first-class book, which I cannot praise highly enough. Paul Johnson, The Literary
Review
Daringly but sensibly, this renowned biographer, Richard Davenport-Hines, has studied
Keynes from seven points of view – not one of them as an economist … a rewarding and
fascinating book’ Peter Lewis, The Daily Mail
