Dear Parents and Carers,
Every year, Macmillan holds a coffee morning and people have a chance to buy cakes and
mingle. This is an important aspect of their fundraising year, and you might have seen some
of their adverts on TV.
Once more, we are selling and buying cakes in our staffroom. Year 5 and 6 classes will also
be selling cakes to help contribute to this good cause. Year 3 can have the chance to buy
cakes from Year 5 and Year 4 can have the chance to buy from Year 6 at break, and if there
are surplus cakes at lunch also.
This has always been a successful event to participate in, and small change would be much
appreciated. (20ps and 50ps)
Last year we raised in excess of £400, and it would be wonderful to contribute this year also
and to help this coffee morning go with a swing.
Can I remind you that we are a nut free school and will not be selling cakes that contain
nuts.
