A NEW CLUB IN TOWN
COME JOIN THE EDMONTON SHUFFLEBOARD ASSOCIATION & PLAY
COURT SHUFFLEBOARD
Shuffleboard play will commence in the months of May, June, July and August
of 2017 at the Ottewell Curling Club (OCC), located at: 4205 - 102 Avenue,
Edmonton, AB. Pictures shown are samples of the actual GESA club.
The club's official name is: "Greater Edmonton Shuffleboard Association" or
GESA for short.
Annual membership is $25.00 per person and nonmembers shall be able to drop-in and shuffle for a $2.00
daily fee (fees help offset equipment costs). Drop-in players 17 and under must be
accompanied by an adult member in good standing. GESA will promote family play and
corporate events on weekends. GESA will be offering free lessons and improvement
clinics. Shuffleboard cues provided. Recommended footwear is a rubber type runner (not
flat soled shoes). The Greater Edmonton Shuffleboard Association (GESA) is a non-profit
organization that promotes the game of floor shuffleboard with the goals of fun, social
interaction, the challenge of competition, and wellness through exercise, for individuals of
all ages and abilities.
Court Shuffleboard, is a strategic game in which players use cues to push weighted discs, sending them gliding
down a narrow and elongated court, with the purpose of having them come to rest within a marked scoring area.

 We provide a social atmosphere and a great facility for members to gather and
enjoy the game of court shuffleboard.
 Equipment, supplies, and schedules to play shuffleboard, are available and
provided for your enjoyment. Everyone is welcome.
 If you have enjoyed air hockey, bowling, bocce, curling, croquet, or billiards,
shuffleboard is the game for you!
Newcomers can ask for lessons & get the basics down.
Come on down, have fun, and play a game.

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday : 10 am, & 1:00 pm
Wednesday evening: 7:00 pm
(come 15 min early so boards are ready for 7pm start)
Membership: $25.00 (May to August)
Drop In: $2.00 daily
