Portage Consumers Co-op is currently accepting applications the position of Petroleum Manager, for a $13 million petroleum operation. The Petroleum Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Petroleum Department of Portage Co-op. Duties will include all aspects of the operations including sales, margins, expenses and inventories, ensuring that all merchandising standards, marketing efforts, employee relations and loss prevention are maintained. The Petroleum Manager is also responsible for the development of annual business plan and budget within the division. This position will oversee and ensure adherence and enforcement of all policies and procedures for the Petroleum Department and all human resource activities including hiring, training, safety and performance management. Reporting to the Agro/Petroleum Division Manager and participating as part of an experienced senior leadership team, this position requires strong technical knowledge and experience in petroleum marketing, strong customer service, organizational and interpersonal skills. Candidates must possess a strong work ethic, good communication skills and a positive growth attitude.
