During our International Open Days you can view field vegetable varieties of
Nickerson-Zwaan, Clause and Vilmorin all on one dedicated site. The extensive
demonstration field located at Dirkshorn offers a wide range of hiqh quality
varieties for professional growers from the vegetable sector.
We are presenting a large number of field crops including white, red, savoy, pointed and
Chinese cabbage, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, carrot, onion, broccoli, lettuce, squash,
leek, radish, endives, beetroot, celery, pumpkin, beans and sweetcorn. As in previous years,
our fruited range, including tomatoes and cucumbers will also be on show. The highly
popular field demonstration will allow you to discover the latest varieties and to discuss
with our product managers and breeders on site. On Tuesday September 25th, the skating
team NH-U, active in the Dutch national league, and sponsored by Nickerson-Zwaan,
will give a skating training demonstration. We look forward to welcoming you at the

Route description:
At the end of the A9 highway AmsterdamAlkmaar, take the N242 road, direction
Heerhugowaard / Ring Alkmaar Oost.
After following the N508 in the
direction of Schagen, take the N245
(Schagerweg). Continue the N245 for
about12 km. At the big crossing with
traffic lights the community Dirkshorn
is on the left side, for the NickersonZwaan demonstrationfield turn right to
the Middenweg. After 100 meters our
site can be found on the left hand side,
