Sugar is Harmful! Sugar is harmful. It causes major health problems. IT WILL KILL YOU!!! You should stop eating sugar because it could cause Type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome and suppress your immune system. Firstly, sugar makes fat. The process of the liver making fructose into fat is very unique. The process initially commences by the liver turning fructose into fat. After that process the liver turns the fat into cholesterol particles. If some of these particles are too big, they will lodge into your liver and stop your liver from transporting the fat to another part of your body. As well as stopping the liver from storing away the fat in a different place. This will also cause metabolic syndrome and Fatty liver disease. Metabolic syndrome causes stroke and heart disease. Stroke is Australia’s second biggest killer. Secondly, sugar can cause major health problems like Type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is caused by eating too much sugar. You must get help for Type 2 diabetes, if you don’t it will cause Hyperglycaemia. To help prevent Type 2 diabetes you need to stick a needle into your biceps, triceps, and stomach and on your bottom. In the needle will be Insulin (which is normally) produced by your Pancreas, a vital organ that runs your brain smoothly. Do you really want that to happen to you? Finally, sugar will supress your immune system. As little as 3.5 ounces of sugar will be enough for sugar to suppress your immune system, up to 50 percent! While sugar suppresses your body, sugar also slows down the absorption of vitamins and minerals so less vitamins and minerals are absorbed at one time. In addition sugar stops your white blood cells from doing their job which is getting rid of things that can make you sick like bacteria or a virus. To conclude, sugar is a very harmful substance that can kill you. Dr Frank Lipman quoted, “We have turned sugar, a biochemically harmful substance into a comfort food, using it as treats for rewarding good behaviours.” All what Dr Frank Lipman just then said is completely true. Sugar is harmful. Parents do you really want your children to be overweight, just because you gave them too many lollies for good behaviour? Make the right choice! Don’t eat SUGAR!!!
