First and foremost, thank you all for your support of the 2013-14 Chanhassen Storm Boys’ Hockey Team! We are
grateful for the hard work and dedication of all of our coaches (youth through high school), and the parents of
all the players involved as well as the members of the Blue Line Club. Our program would not exist without the
contributions that all of you provide.
Our players work extremely hard to hone their skills and to develop as players. We are extremely proud of their
effort and devotion during the season and off-season. We ask that you as you cheer for our teams, you focus on
all of the good things that they are doing on the ice!
We are an educational athletic program, and as such, we believe strongly that our purpose is to support, enrich
and go beyond many of the lessons being learned in the classroom. Our coaches and players are focused on
the importance of a strong work ethic, teamwork, preparedness, positivity and loyalty. We believe these are the
characteristics that will support a successful high school program and a successful future for our athletes wherever their path may lead.
We have assembled a tremendous coaching staff lead by head Coach Chris Wilson. I ask that you join me, the
coaching staff and the rest of our administrative team as we continue to build a sense of community that exudes

The players and coaches are very excited for the 2013-14 Season. We are confident that the hard
work during the off season will result in a much improved team.
We have a great group of players, enthusiastic and hard working – on the ice, in the weight room,
in the classroom and in the community. It is a group that the Storm Hockey fans can truly be proud
of. They are hoping to compete for the conference championship in the final season for the Missota
Conference.

STORM HOCKEY CAMPS
The Chanhassen Storm Coaching staff has teamed with Antti Laaksonen to provide hockey
training camps consisting of dry-land exercises and on-ice drills. Dry-land training includes
stretching, agility, plyometric and weight/resistance training before on ice drills. On-ice
sessions consist of power skating/conditioning, stickhandling, timing, shooting and small/full
ice games.
Antti Laaksonen is in his 4rd year training Storm Hockey players. He is a former NHL player,
including 4 seasons with the Minnesota Wild. He also won Silver Medals in both the World
Championships and Olympics while playing for Finland. He provides our players with a vast
knowledge of training and conditioning techniques.
For 2014, we will be providing the following camps for peewee, bantam and high school
players
