This week in math we will review
numbers 1-20 all week. We will also
continue the concept of sorting by
sorting objects with more than 1
attribute. We will also continue the
counting jar, which is a counting
activity we will do through the entire
year.

This week we will continue our
author study about Lois Ehlert.

this week are Red Leaf, Yellow
Leaf, Leaf Man, and Nuts for You.

We have learned the letters A-X and next
week we will learn the letters Y & Z! We
will also learn the words can and be. Our
sight word reader for the week is I Can See.
This week we will begin our Fall unit in
science! We will discuss the season of Fall
and how to tell for signs of fall. We will talk
about how the leaves change in the fall and
read many nonfiction books about leaves.
On Friday we will go on a leaf hunt and do
some leaf rubbings
