The Westerville Junior Drill Team is now accepting fall registration for grades kindergarten through
middle school. We are in our 27th year of providing students with a fun athletic positive experience. The drill
team consists of two sessions per year, fall and spring. The children will perform this fall at community events,
a retirement home, Christmas Parade and the Jr. Drill Team Competition.
Participation will help improve your child’s confidence, coordination, social skills and leadership abilities
regardless of her ability or disability. People who encourage each girl to be her best and give the needed
positive reinforcement teach the drill squads.

Fall Session begins with registration on Thursday Sept.19 from 6:30 to 7:15pm at Wilder
Elementary, 6375 Goldfinch Dr, Westerville, 43081 (from Sunbury Rd. and Rt.161 go west on Executive
Parkway next to McDonald’s, curve around, go through the stop sign, and then go left on Goldfinch, school is
first building on your left). Practice begins the following week on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 6:30pm at Wilder
Elementary, and runs 45 minutes most Thursdays through November. We divide the girls into teams and each
team learns a pompom routine to music along with a few holiday and team routines. Performances are late
November through mid December. Schedules will be ready at registration.
The required uniform is a sweatshirt, skirt, brief, metallic pompoms, barrette and sequin ankle cuffs.
Returning members may purchase only the items they need. Star sweatpants ($16) are an optional item we
wear under our skirts when it is cold outside for the holiday events. All girls need white socks and white tennis
shoes. Bring the uniform fee of $95 or a part thereof (no checks) to registration. All must be present for
measurements (custom ordered). Items ordered after registration may be delayed! If you miss the registration
we will do final measurements after the first practice on Sep. 26 at Wilder. The session fee of $75 will be due
Oct. 24th before uniform pickup. Questions are answered at registration. Questions after registration? Call
