2. SUMMARY OF POSITION PURPOSE
Be responsible for ensuring stock is merchandised and excess stock is safely and appropriately stored
Manage stock fill and floater teams
Liaise with Department Team Leaders and Inventory Management
Be responsible for store security during fill hours
Be responsible for Health and Safety of Team members
Ensure the Mitre 10 MEGA image is protected by acting in the best interests of the Company at all times.

Ensure stock is pulled from Inwards Goods Department
Evaluate stock to be worked
Allocate resources to each department
Ensure stock is merchandised following company standards
Ensure products are correctly merchandised on the appropriate fixtures
Ensure stock is rotated
Supervise the setting up of all displays to ensure they adhere to Company
standards
 Ensure excess stock is stored appropriately ie in cupboards of on pallets on
tops
 Ensure excess stock is stored safely
 Ensure stock is located correctly in the system
 Ensure shop floor is clear of pallets at end of fill hours
 Liaise with department team leaders and Inventory Department to ascertain
requirements for following days fill
 Plan fill for the next day

Achieve 90%+ on stock filling

Achieve merchandising at store standards

Stock rotation & merchandising at required standard

Less than 2% of damaged stock
Manage team members in a way that maximises their productivity and
quality of work

 Identify and implement required induction and ongoing training
 Regularly brief the team on all relevant communication at the appropriate

 Allocate daily duties to team members and follow up to ensure duties are

 Supervise team members to ensure their presentation standards meet or
exceed Company expectations
 Supervise team members to ensure that they provide a high standard of
service to other members of the team

 Ensure staff comply with all Health & Safety guidelines and procedures
 Ensure staff comply with Mitre 10 MEGA Hamilton policies and procedures

 Ensure staff report hazards, incidents and work related injuries / accidents
promptly in accordance with Company Health & Safety policy
 Participate in the Health and Safety Hazard awareness process
 Staff reviews completed on time
 Audit shows regular meetings / briefs with staff to address any issues

Ensure Company policies and procedures are complied with

Ensure correct use of equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s
