Join indie icon Alex Cox, a compulsive creator and quintessential auteur, writer (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,
X Films: True Confessions of a Radical Filmmaker), director (Repo Man, Sid & Nancy, Kurosawa- The Last Emperor),
actor (Backtrack, Floundering) and teacher (University of Colorado, Film Studies) as we discuss the role story plays in
film and culture and why we all must tell our stories. He will be joined by 2011 Film 4 Change Award winner and DIFF
filmmaker, writer, designer, director, and producer, Alethea Root (Part Time Fabulous, A Thousand Cuts), along with
Manny Otto, Associate Publisher at MW P, the largest publisher of film and screenwriting books. Manny is also the
founder of Mythos for Creatives that believes the formula for healing the world is simple: Activate the creative culture.

Lights… Camera… ACTION: Stuntmen Stories, Demonstrations & Instruction with Legendary Hollywood Stunt Coordinator
Bud Davis. Join us to learn how stunts are done, how you can do them, and how they can create drama and intensity on
almost any budget. From falling off a ladder to jumping cars to blowing up a city block, Bud Davis — along with other
professional stuntmen — will share clips and stories from his career, perform live demonstrations and teach you how
to pull off your own stunts. Bud will take us behind the scenes through his work on films like Forrest Gump, Inglorious
Basterds, Seraphim Falls, Star Trek Generations, So I Married An Ax Murderer, Navy Seals and King Kong Lives.

What makes us laugh? What is funny? Join us as we explore the world of humor with three veterans of the comedy wars.
Join actor/comedian Steven Michael Quezada, who plays “Gomez” on the Emmy winning TV series Breaking Bad,
actor and photographer of the absurd Craig Semetko, whose recent book UNPOSED gained international acclaim, and
Durango’s own actor/comedian John Rubano, who appeared for eight seasons on the ABC sitcom According to Jim, and
is an alumnus of Chicago’s famed Second City.
