Entrance Test Workshop
The Learning Commons at Phoenix College offers a five-hour
workshop to help aspiring nursing students prepare to take the HESI-A2
exam. The workshop consists of an overview of the test, a discussion
about different test-taking strategies, and practice in each area that you
will be tested and graded on.
YOU MUST CALL THE NUMBER BELOW TO RESERVE A SPOT

We recommend that students purchase the HESI workbook* (noted below). It is available at the
Phoenix College Bookstore, online through Amazon.com and other e-stores, or from many Phoenix
Public and Maricopa Community College Libraries.

* Students may attend the workshop even if they choose not to purchase the workbook or have not done
so by the time of the workshop.
**Students must go to Cashiers in the Hannelly Center to pay the fee before the workshop. Cashiers
accepts payment by cash, check, or debit/credit card. Please obtain a Cashiers Pay Ticket either in person
at our Learning Commons offices in Room 023 in Fannin Library Lower Level or by email before going to
Cashiers to pay. If you choose to wait until the day of the workshop to pay, please arrive by 10:00am so
you have time to go to cashiers and be to the workshop promptly at 10:30am.
