Masai Lions Football Team
takes the Win!
Sports Update
On Saturday, October 5th, the Masai Lions Football team beat Muchin with a
score of 42-8 during their homecoming game. Please help congratulate our team
on their success.
Picture Days
Picture day will take place on October 9th and 10th during PE, Yoga, and ROTC
classes. Seniors who missed graduation pictures will take pictures as well. All
Students must be in full uniform for pictures.

Testing for Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors OCT 17
Early Dismissal for students -­‐ Time TBD OCT 18
Testing for Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors NOV 1
Report Card Pick Up The following days have a different schedule:
Friday, October 11 – OER Testing for Freshmen, Sophomore, and Juniors.
Seniors will have self-directed college exploration: college visits, essay
preparation, or meetings with college counselors. Freshmen, Sophomores, and
Juniors will be dismissed as early as 11:15 a.m. and continue until 12:30 p.m.
Feel free to contact your son or daughterʼs advisor for further clarification.
Refinement (Detention)
Refinement will not begin at 1:45 p.m. on Friday, October 11th due to testing.
Instead, detention will begin after testing at 11:30 a.m. Please note, detention
lasts three hours. Students who have extended testing time will join detention
after testing. Students with extended testing time will have various dismissal
times. Parents will be notified before a student is dismissed. Detention for
seniors will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m.
Enrichment Credit Opportunity: Tutor at Kelly Hall YMCA
• Days available: Monday-Thursday
• Time: 4:30 - 5:15 p.m.
• Location: Kelly Hall (824 N. Hamlin) tutoring rooms (upstairs)
