Senior Men and Women’s 2017 Premier
Season Trials
The Norths Basketball Club is one of the major basketball clubs in the ACT and we have a
large number of teams competing in Basketball competitions in Canberra. We have teams
in Junior and Senior divisions ranging from social to premier leagues providing pathways
for our junior players into the senior ranks.
Norths will be holding trials for the upcoming Basketball ACT 2017 Premier Competition
which runs for approximately 25 to 28 rounds from late February to September in 2017.
Players also wishing to play A Grade will also be able to trial for the next season
commencing in April 2017.
The trials will be in two parts, the initial trial in December and then a day training camp in
January.

January training camp details will be sent to players who either attend the first trial or
register their interest to be considered for a premier team but are unable to attend.
All players attending the trials must complete a Trials Registration Form and bring it along
with them to their trial. The Trials Registration Form can be downloaded from the Norths
website at http://norths.basketball.net.au and select Seniors/Senior Trials from the page
menu.
Please arrive 15 minutes before start time to record your attendance and complete the
registration.
Players must attend a minimum of 1 tryout session to be considered for a position. Players
who cannot attend trials must advise our Senior Coordinator about their interest and
reasons for not attending before the December trial session otherwise they will not be
considered for a position.
