HEAD COACH Salary range: £16,000-20,000 Department: Nottingham Forest Community Trust Responsible to: Football Development Projects Manager Employment: Full-time permanent Closing date: 23 June 2017 Nottingham Forest Community Trust are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Head Coach to deliver high quality physical activity sessions across a variety of programmes. Duties and responsibilities: 1. Lead the delivery of a variety of football and multisport programes across the Trust. 2. Support the promotion and delivery of all Trust programmes, including Soccer Schools, Advanced Coaching Centres and Regional Talent Clubs. 3. Support the Football Development Projects Manager in achieving set performance targets and KPI’s relating to programme income. 4. Ensure that all programmes are structured and high quality, following the appropriate schemes of work and linking into the National Curriculum and National Governing Body strategies. 5. Manage and motivate a team of dedicated staff. 6. Support the development of staff and contribute to in-house training programmes. 7. Monitor and evaluate all delivery programmes ensuring that all data is up to date and accurate on Views. 8. Ensure that all staff and delivery programmes are fully compliant with the latest safeguarding, health and safety and data protection legislation. 9. Attend meetings and represent Nottingham Forest Community Trust at events. 10. Provide cover across Trust programmes where necessary. 11. Be a positive role model and engage people of all ages and abilities in positive activities. 12. Develop and maintain effective positive working relationships with stakeholders and partner organisations. 13. Represent Nottingham Forest Community Trust in a professional manner at all times with respect to attitude, work ethic, appearance, conduct and personal hygiene. 14. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities required to commensurate with the grade of the post. 15. Report directly to the Football Development Projects Manager and be ultimately responsible to the Chief Executive Officer. Ability to develop partnerships, programmes and business opportunities. Experience of implementing robust monitoring and evaluation systems and measuring outcomes. Understanding the National Curriculum & HE frameworks. Ability to follow direction and work in a focussed and outcome driven environment. Experience and Qualifications – Desirable 1. 2. 3. 4.
