Program

What is M-power?
• “M-power – a One Planet Campus Engagement Program” is a
new way to engage with colleagues and friends, in a fun and
practical way
• M-power seeks to facilitate staff awareness and engagement
around a particular sustainability theme
• SRN members are emailed a link to the M-power theme on the
sustainability website
• The bi-monthly themes are structured to be easy to engage with
seek to encourage and reward participation
2
The Power of Plants
• Eighty percent of Australians live in urban areas,
and spend 90% of our time indoors, so indoor air
quality is critical to our health.
• Indoor air is likely to be more polluted than outside
• Office plants significantly improve a whole range
of aspects of our indoor environment and just one
plant per room can improve air quality
