Thank you for considering becoming a sponsor of Southern Maryland All-Stars
Basketball Team, Inc. (SMABT). As a non-profit organization, our funding is
entirely dependent upon fundraisers and the contributions of small businesses,
large corporations and individuals, along with registration fees. All of your
generous contributions are tax deductible and go towards a wonderful cause.
SMABT recruits, trains and manages an Amateur Athletic Union 11th Grade 17
and under youth basketball team in which the team players will participate and
compete in basketball games, leagues and tournaments throughout the United
States. All of these activities cost: even practice time because of gym rentals.
In addition to expenditures such as uniforms, practice equipment, travel costs,
insurances and filing fees.
SMABT promotes good sportsmanship, self-esteem through teamwork not to
mention respect for others, initiative, values and the pursuit of excellence in
school. We accredit the development of these life-long skills to the heartfelt
passion, the enthusiastic commitment and contagious spirit of all the coaches,
staff and parents.
There are several sponsorship levels for you to choose from and we are thankful
for any level you select. All of our sponsors are recognized on our website. In
addition, we encourage all of the parents of SMABT to support our sponsors for
their interest in promoting our efforts with the youth of our communities.
