what not to bring

WHAT TO BRING
 Sleeping bag (–or- twin sheets/blanket) & pillow, towels
 Water bottle you can refill and carry with you
 Small backpack or drawstring bag
 Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes (for outdoor activities)
 Bible, notepad, pen
 Toiletries such as toothbrush & shampoo
 Sun protection
 Insect repellant
 Swim Suit (Girls-an appropriate one piece or t-shirt to wear over two piece suit)
 Spending money for snacks, camp store (optional)
 Summer clothing (see dress code below)
 Light jacket (for cold rooms)
 At least one outfit that will have to be thrown away
 Patriotic outfit (‘Merica theme day-Friday. **NOTHING POLITICAL or CONTROVERSIAL!)
 An outfit that represents a favorite childhood memory (Throwback theme day-Saturday)
 “Nerd” outfit (Nerd theme day-Sunday)
WHAT NOT TO BRING
 Alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs, fireworks, water guns, or any kind of weapon.
 Any portable gaming devices, roller blades, skateboards
 Items that may be used for pranks such as water balloons, shaving cream, silly string, etc.
 Pranks are not allowed at camp. You will be charged for any damages or issues related to clean
up.
DRESS CODE
 Wear clothes that are clean, neat & modest
 Shorts – you must be able to touch fabric on shorts either in the front or the side when you
hold your arms straight down
 Sleeveless shirts are allowed, but no “spaghetti straps” or “tank tops”
 No shirts that expose torso or undergarments are allowed
 Wear modest shorts, pants, jeans, or dresses for worship
 Dresses with spaghetti or small straps, open backs, and excessively short lengths are not
allowed (when hands are extended to the back or front, finger tips must touch fabric)
 Wear closed-toe/closed-heel shoes to recreation activities
 Wear your name tag at all times
