Superhero Bio Mimics: Most of our favorite superheroes have names and powers that are modeled after animals. From Batman and Spider- Man to Hawkman, Aquaman and Black Widow, stories of people with animal powers have captured our imaginations. Join our team as we discover what makes these animals so SUPER! The Sky’s The Limit: It's a bird, it’s a plane! No it’s a boomerang...or is it a kite? Actually, it’s anything that can fly. Come explore the science behind objects that fly and how they stay in the air. Campers will learn the meaning of aerodynamics, the different forces of flight, and work as a team to build hoop gliders and rockets. Survivors of the Wild: Take a break from modern living and learn to survive off the land. See what it takes as we build forts, make fires, and learn where to find water. We’ll learn to tie knots using eco-friendly threads and use tools the way our ancient ancestors did. Can you withstand nature’s toughest challenges?
