Meet the Home Group Team of Active Interest Media. You’ve seen us before, at our
Log & Timber Home Shows; at the NAHB Log and Timber Council Showcase and
Mega Tours and around other log and timber home industry events. But we have
recently changed our company name to better reflect the breadth of what we do.
ROB CLUTTER
RICH WILKINSON
Rob worked for 16 years as a
salesman then VP Sales and
Marketing for a major log and
timber home manufacturing
company in Tennessee. He
still holds the company record for most log homes sold. He has helped
hundreds of customers achieve their dream
of building and owning a custom wood
home.
In 1999, Rob built his own log home.
In 2009 Rob joined Active Interest Media
as Sales Director of the Log & Timber Home
Shows as well as Log Home Living, Country’s Best Cabins and Timber Home Living
magazines. He oversees the Log and Timber
“Home Team,” and is the well known, popular professor of the Log
& Timber Home University.
Rob and his wife Tiffany live with their
four children in Manchester Tennessee where
Rob is an active volunteer in community
service. In his spare time Rob restores classic
AMC cars.

Like his teammates, Rich came
to the Active Interest Media
Home Team from the log and
timber industry. He is a builder of log homes; timber frame
homes and hybrid custom
wood homes in his home state
of Tennessee. This gives Rich a perspective
which is very helpful to his advertising clients...he IS the client. As such he understands
the value of marketing to home buyers and
has a command of the Home Group print, digital, social and events media portfolio. Rich
is also a Log & Timber Home University professor. In his spare time he plays the drums
in a rock band. and is a frequent guest on talk
radio station WBULL.

Eric has worked in the log
and timber home industry
since 1985, first as a salesman
for Adirondack Log Homes
then as a dealer for Lindal
Cedar Homes in upstate New
York and finally as Vice President of Sales for the Original Lincoln Logs
Company. He joined the Home Group Team
of Active Interest Media in 2009 as the main
man producing over a dozen Log & Timber
Home Shows a year. When he’s not setting
up or braking down Shows, Eric and his wife
Kim raise three sons and attend every baseball game they play.

ELAINE NOSAKA
Associate Publisher LOG HOME LIVING
Elaine is a seasoned media professional
with twenty years
experience in print, digital
and events, including 16 years
in the log and timber home
industry. Along the way she
helped create the “Handcrafters Gallery;” and “Dream Home Showcase.” She is the recipient of the Builder
Friendly Award and former board member
of the International Log Builders Association. She also served as advertising director
of Building Systems. Elaine is particularly proud of the role she plays helping her
advertising clients build brand awareness
and sales leads through effective integrated
marketing communications programs.

Log & Timber Home Show Exhibit Sales
The newest addition to the
Home Group Team, Sam calls
on exhibitor clients for 14
events per year. She brings to
the team experience in radio
advertising, where she wrote
jingles; events management
and advertising copy writing. Sam lives in
Hillsboro, Tennessee with her husband Joe
and her Bassett Hound Penny.
