Project description:
The project involved 36 young people from 6 countries: Poland, Lithuania, Estonia,
Slovenia, Greece and Italy. During our meetings we discussed the sport and its role
in daily life. During the exchange we focused on youth awareness of how important

sport and active lifestyle is – even if someone has a lot of activities and
responsibilities. During joint operations we used elements of informal education, in
order to avoid a theoretical approach and to show the use of sports and games in
practice. We were also able to engage people with fewer opportunities and those
that do not often have the opportunity to participate in similar projects, so we have
shown that in fact everyone has a similar chance of achieving dream goals in life.
We have also held national evenings, where young people have the opportunity to
become acquainted with other cultures and traditions, and thus become acquainted
with other customs, learn tolerance and respect, and even to like those differences.
By observing other cultures we managed to improve in our participants a sense of
national belonging, as well as get rid of false stereotypes about other cultures.
Through the use of peer education each participant had a chance to become
acquainted with the experience of their peers, draw conclusions from it for the future.
All of our actions undoubtedly had a positive impact on the personal development of
participants, and also helped to establish many new friends, and improve networking
between organizations, which will certainly help in the organization even better
projects in the future.
