When I decided to keep my son in a second year of pre-school, I also decided to look into different centers. From the first phone call, I felt respected, informed and like we had a second family ...The change that I have seen in my son's development in just one year is amazing. When he took the kindergarten readiness test, he scored above average in every single task! ... My words cannot express the gratitude that I have for the center and all of the superior teachers." -Carrie Mason United Way of Greater Stark County supports Interfaith Campus Preschool and Child Development Center. Since 1968, The Stuckey Family Interfaith Child Development Center has been allowing working mothers send their kids to a place where quality care will be provided. Interfaith believes that children learn best in a safe environment where they are supported and encouraged to experience various areas of learning and in-turn generates a feeling of value and selfesteem. eNewsletter sponsored by Agency Corner We have a family at the Middle School here in Massillon that has two children in band. One is playing the flute and other is playing the trumpet. The family is unable to find the instruments or afford to pay for them themselves so we are looking for any that someone might be willing to donate to AHEAD for the family. Obviously, as a non-profit we can write them a letter that they can use for a tax deductible donation if they wish. We would be very grateful so these two children can continue in the band. I believe the family is trying to work with our music department still to rent the one instrument but the other one they do not have to rent and take home so I am not sure how the child is practicing. We have tried calling around but these two instruments seem to be the highest in demand. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much and if you need more information please let me know. Erica B.
