(Biography)
Hideo Tsuji was born on August 22, 1953 in Kyoto, Japan. He graduated from Kyoto
Institute of Technology and took master degree in Chemistry in 1979.
He joined Bayer Japan Ltd. in the Silicone Division in 1979. From 1982 to 1986, he
worked with Bayer Gohsei Silicone K.K. In 1986, he was transferred to Inorganic
Chemicals Division at Bayer Japan Ltd.
In 1990, he transferred to Inorganic Chemicals for Electrical and Electronic and others as
Sales Manager. In 1998, he took over marketing manager of Silicones. He transferred to
Nippon Bayer Agrochem in 1998, and took over the position as marketing leader of
chemical ingredients for agrochemicals.
In 2001, he became Head of Rhein CHemie unit. In 2002, Rhein Chemie Japan Ltd. was
established, and he took over responsibility of President and General Manager of Rhein
Chemie Japan.
In January 2015, he became Director of LANXESS K.K., and Vice President Sales of
Rhein Chemie Additives Business Unit in Japan and Korea
On July 1st, 2015, he was appointed President & CEO of LANXESS K.K. in addition to
Vice President Sales of Rhein Chemie Additives Business Unit in Japan and Korea.
