“NITS” stands for Network Integration Transmission Service
No Change to Point-to-Point service
Applications for new Network Service customers will be made
on OASIS
 Network Transmission Service requests will be on OASIS but
will have different format than currently used
 Each NITS request will identify the NITS Customer
 Agents may act on behalf of NITS Customers
 Designations and Undesignations will be on OASIS
 DNR forms will no longer be needed because the
information is captured in the new templates
 Concomitant Requests will be available
 Full implementation of SAMTS will be in place

Implementation Plan
• On July 25, DEC and DEP posted on OASIS their plans and procedures
for transitioning existing Transmission Customers’ NITS service
arrangements to the Version 2.0 NITS OASIS Templates.
• By October 25, 2015, DEC and DEP plan to provide to each existing
NITS Transmission Customer the specific information that must be
posted on OASIS in the Version 2.0 NITS OASIS Templates to represent
the current NITS service arrangements.
• Between October 25, 2015 and January 25, 2016, DEC and DEP will
work with customers to resolve any issues with the information
intended to be posted.
• By March 25, 2016, DEC and DEP plan to post the information
documenting all existing NITS Customer’s arrangements on OASIS in
the pre-submittal workspace using the new 2.0 template structures.
• By April 25, 2016, DEC and DEP will have all the new functionality
enabled on OASIS
NITS on OASIS
 Here is the specific information that will be submitted to
customers for review prior to posting on OASIS:
1. Customer Code (e.g., NCEMC) and contact info
2. NITS service start and stop times
3. Agent Code(s) (e.g., ACES) and contact info
4. Sink Name(s)
5. DNR information (from current DNR reservations and info
on file and will include generator information if
applicable)
 DEC and DEP will complete the templates on OASIS for
customer final review and submittal

 Actively engaged with OATI to understand the new
templates and to influence the customer interface
requirements and layout

 Version 003.1 - WEQ Business Practice Standards Published September 30, 2015. Key changes:





ATC standards
Resale off OASIS will require resale customer confirmation
Firm Redirects to comply with Dynegy/Entergy orders
15 minute scheduling intervals
SAMTS - permit a customer with preempted transmission
capacity from a reservation associated with a Coordinated
Group to alter (reduce or terminate) the capacity of
Coordinate Requests in the Coordinated Group
