How to use Career Cruising: Info for students and parents!
What is it?
This program lets you register for next year’s courses.
Deadline to return your signed form is Friday February 24th!

How do I login?
Gr 9 - you log in with the username and password which is stapled to this paper.
Gr 10, 11, 12 – use your password from last year.
Lost your password? Retrieve it by clicking on Forgot your username and /or password?
Your user name is your student number but without the letter S. Example OCD-123456789
Click on Choose my courses on the left hand side of the page.
I’m in Grade 9 - what do I do?
You must choose 8 courses + 2 alternates - DOUBLECHECK EVERYTHING - then click SUBMIT.
I’m in Grade 10 - what do I do?
You must choose 8 courses + 2 alternates -DOUBLECHECK EVERYTHING - then click SUBMIT.
I’m in Grade 11 - what do I do?
You need 30 courses to graduate.
You must choose 8 courses now + 2 alternates– DOUBLECHECK EVERYTHING - then click SUBMIT.
If you have enough courses to graduate, then some of your courses can be spares.
I want to have a spare- what do I do?
Only Grade 11s and 12s can have a spare. Choose STUDY PERIOD if you want a spare.
I want a course that is “Outside the Timetable”– like Band or Outdoor Ed. - what do I do?
Click on Outside the Timetable at the bottom of the page, and then click on Discipline and Outside the Timetable.
I want an online course – what do I do?
*You must see your Guidance Counsellor to ask for any e-learning / online course.
For now, you must still choose 8 courses offered at Osgoode Township High School.
OOPS!! I clicked SUBMIT but I made a mistake – how do I change my courses?
You must see your Guidance Counsellor to ask for a change.
I need more help!
Come to the library any lunchtime February 22 - 24th for extra help from Guidance staff.
I have finished choosing my courses – now what?
 Click SUBMIT ONLY when you are sure about the 8 courses.



Print off your Course Selection Sheet, Media Form & Technology Form.
Ask your parent /guardian to sign all the forms.
Return the signed forms to your teacher – Grade 9 – Period 1
