Jarplex™ IPS
Isopropyl Shea Butterate
A natural and unique light and sprayable shea ester. Can replace Isopropyl Palmitate
(IPP) and/or Isopropyl Myristate (IPM) in all formulations. Provides a soft coat without a
greasy or tacky feel, but still delivers the skin-conditioning benefits (unsaponifiables) of
Shea Butter. Compatible with other esters, butters, oils, silicones and sunscreen filters.
Actique™ Pearl
Hydrolyzed Conchiolin Protein
Actique™ Pearl is a unique skin tone correcting oligopeptide, naturally derived from
conchiolin ("pearl”) protein. What separates this luxurious pearl oligopeptide from other
pearl-derived products is the advanced extraction process to yield a potent low MW
endothelin antagonist. In-vivo testing showed a reduced appearance of hyperpigmentation
and significant skin lightening. Full studies available upon request. Use level 0.02 – 0.1%

Octyldodecyl Shea Butterate
A nature based, moisturizing ester with improved oxidative stability compared to Shea
butter alone. It is light, fast spreading, and penetrating with a less waxy feel without being
tacky. It is great for use in protective products, i.e. winter products, cold weather
applications and SPF applications. Compatible with other esters, butters, oils, silicones
and sunscreen filters.

Shea Butter Glycerides
Proprietary, patent-pending, non-ethoxylated, water-dispersible shea butter technology.
This versatile ingredient delivers high levels of shea unsaponifiables to a wide range of
aqueous formulations. Used at 25% alone in water, produces a unique, non greasy, and
soothing rapid absorbing lotion. It has emollient properties with a silkier feel than regular
shea butter, and water properties so it can act like a low HLB emulsifier. Also available in
Cupuaçu.
Jarplex™ SB-WS50
PEG-50 Shea Butter
A glycerol ethoxylated mono, diglyceride of Shea butter taken from the nut of the Shea
tree. Jarplex™ SB-WS50 is a water soluble, non-ionic surfactant. It contributes shea
functionality to a wide variety of formulations. Jarplex™ SB-WS50 has an HLB of 16 – 18
when used as an emulsifier. 90% Active and allows for clear formulations.

Jarchem’s Actique™ Hyal Sodium Hyaluronates originate from all-natural fermentation
processes, using non-animal and non-GMO sources. Sodium Hyaluronate (aka
Hyaluronic Acid, Hyaluronan, or HA), in general, is known to be able to stabilize up to
1,000 times its own weight in water. Not only does Sodium Hyaluronate retain water, but it
also keeps collagen from cracking and drying out. As a result, it is recognized as a Natural
Moisturizing Factor (NMF) and anti-aging ingredient.
