Venue All events and official practices will take place at Penrith Ice Palace, Patti’s Place Jamisontown. 3. Synchronized Skating Entries All Synchronized Skating Teams must submit the Team Excel Spread sheet Entry Form listing all competitors and substitutes for Synchronized Skating sections to their State Secretaries by Thursday 31 July 2014. 2 State Secretaries must verify all members meet the eligibility criteria and then forward the Team Excel Spreadsheet to New South Wales Ice Skating Association Inc. [email protected] by Monday 4 August. Payment of entry fees by each State Association to be made directly to New South Wales Ice Skating Association Inc. This can be via by direct bank deposit. Payments to be received by Monday 11 August 2014. 6. Planned Program Content and Music All teams (excluding Aussie Skate) are required to submit to NSWISA: Planned Program Content (PPC) Form No revised PPCs will be accepted after the starting order draws are completed. 7. Late entries are subject to payment of double entry fee for the given event. 8. Practices Practices will be advised after close of entries once schedule is finalised. 9. Music All teams shall furnish competition music of excellent quality on CD (compact disc) format. Each program (short program and free skating) must be recorded on a separate disc. All CDs must show the Competition section, Team name and running time of music. All Teams must provide a back-up disc for each program. Music will be submitted at official practices and held for the duration of the event. 10. Draws – Order of Skating The starting order draws will take place one week prior to the commencement of the event and will be posted on the nswisa website – www.nswisa.com 11. Insurance & Liability All members of State Associations are covered under the ISA National Insurance Policy while participating in the Championships. This Policy includes Sports Accident cover. ISA and NSWISA assume no responsibility or liability for other persons in connection with these Championships. ISA recommends any person travelling to Sydney for the Championships considers personal travel insurance. 12. Results Aussie Skate Divisions will be as per Ice Skating Australia – Aussie Skate Synchronized Skating Regulations. 4 The IJS judging system will be used for all other divisions. Results will be uploaded to the NSIWSA website www.nswisa.com as soon as possible. NSWISA advises that all displayed and or announced results remain provisional until the actual result is certified by the segment referee and technical controller on the official result form. 13. Awards Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be presented to each member of the first, second and third placed teams respectively. Invited participants from other ISU Members who place in the top three will be given appropriate medals in additions to those awarded to the three highest placed Australian Teams. 14. Video Recording & Photography Video permit forms will be available on the NSWISA Website www.nswisa.com or at the Registration Desk at the event. Only requests made in writing on the official Video Permit Form will be accepted. Persons taking photographs or video may be requested to present a permit. The use of Flash Photography and Video Lights are not permitted during warm-ups or events. Some tablet devices have bright video lights and these must be turned off. No photography or videoing will be permitted at any practice session or in event warm-ups. 15. Member Protection The ISA Inc. Member Protection Policy and the NSWISA Code of Ethics and Behaviour, and the (ASC) Australian Sports Commission Coaches Code of Conduct will be enforced at this event. 26th June 2014 5
