Opportunities for Regional /Chapter Offices to
accelerate Registrations
Accelerating registrations- lets join hands and work in tandem.
1. Pre-Registration data – Institute maintains the pre registration data of the students
who are keen to join CS Course. The chapters have already been given access to
this data. Hence Regions/Chapter across India may use the same for accelerating
registrations.
2. Data maintained by Call Centre- Institute’s call centre also maintains the data of
prospective students which is being sent to Regional and chapters offices on time
to time basis. This data may also be used for accelerating registrations.
3. Helpdesk for students for facilitating registrations- Region/chapter offices may
assist students in registration when they go for follow –up after career awareness
programmes.
4. Division of targets on monthly basis to achieve higher results- It is suggested
that Region /Chapters may divide their targets on monthly basis so that they can
closely monitor their own performance through out the year. This will help them to
achieve their targets.
5. Dashboard- Institute has already given access to Region/Chapter offices to fetch
status of registration. Monitoring the same on regular basis would help them to
achieve the desired results.
ICSI STUDY CENTRE
Expectations :
 To establish Study Centres in collaboration with reputed Colleges /
Universities in those locations wherein the Institute’s has no existence.
 All Smart cities proposed to be covered in this scheme.




Study Centres will provide basic services:
Facilitating Registrations
Organising Career Counselling Programmes
Class Room Teaching of students.
 With this initiative the Institute is hoping to break the distance barrier and
spread the reach and level of communications with the prospective and
existing students across more than eighty towns and cities across India.

ICSI Signature Award
The ICSI Signature Award Scheme was introduced by the Institute in furtherance of its objectives to
nurture best talent available and facilitate meaningful collaborations between the institutions in the
higher education sector for the benefit of student community. The initiative is expected to encourage
competitive spirit among the students studying in various colleges affiliated to the Universities. Under
this Scheme, Top Rank Holder in the B.Com. Examinations of respective Universities and topper of
selected programmes/ papers of IIMs / IITs shall be awarded a Gold Medal and Merit Certificate. Top
three rank holders in the aforesaid examinations shall also be eligible for waiver of Registration Fee
while registering for the CS Course in Executive Programme.
So far, the Institute has signed agreements/ MOUs with the following Universities / IIMs :

International Company Secretaries Olympiad
The First International Company Secretaries Olympiad was conducted in association with
Science Olympiad Foundation on 15th September, 2016 & 4th October, 2016 last year for XI
and XII class students in India and Abroad where more than 1400 schools all over the country
and more than 36000 students participated on National and International Level. Students from
International Countries like U.A.E, Qatar and Srilanka also participated at International level.
We have established various awards running into lacs of rupees for toppers and rank holders of
ICSO.
We are pleased to inform you that after the Grand Success in conducting Ist ICSO our next 2nd
International Company Secretaries Olympiad for Academic Year 2017-2018 will be held on 28th
Jan & 30th Jan, 2018.
We request you all to dissemination the details of 2nd ICSO to have maximum impact
among the potential students to participate in the same to make .

SHARING SUCCESS STORIES
Some of the chapters have given exemplary performance and achieved
more than 90% of the registration targets . To name some of them
Mangalore, Mysore, Bangalore, Pune have done splendid job on attaining
the registration related chapters.
Other Region/Chapter Offices may take clue from them that how they are
planning and Executing. Success stories always help others to get
motivated and you will also get to know that where you are lagging
behind.

• Sharing our problems help us to get the desired solutions
• Solutions irradiates the obstacles and our productivity increases
• Working as a team and in tandem always help to achieve desired results
• We should always keep a check on where others are going. This motivates
us.
For e.g – In case chapter near us is performing exceptionally well, we need to
introspect that why we are lagging and how we can improve ourselves
• Meeting with other chapter/Regions may also help in attaining the desired
results.
• You may also take help of officers appointed exclusively for conducting
career awareness related activities.
Use of Technology
• Institute has its visibility on social networking sites . You may also use
Facebook and Twitter account for creating visibility of your chapter
and for approaching prospective students
• Institute has created wats app group wherein many region chapters
already share their success stories. Similarly others may also get clue
from them and create their own success stories
• Use local cable TV’s for publicing your chapter and creating visibility
amongst the prospective students
Some initiatives for increasing visibility of
the Profession
• Student month was initiated last year and we have been able to
increase registrations by 43% during the students month i.e July 2017
• “आईसीएसआई गिरिसािि विद्यार्थी विकास योजना” is a new project
through which the Institute will reach out to the student community
and schools/Colleges in the coastal areas/ hilly regions on pan India
basis. The objective of the scheme is to create visibility of the
Institute in the coastal and Hilly areas wherein the growth potential
for the profession is enormous and thereby securing improvement in
student registration
