TERMS AND CONDITIONS

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. This competition is governed by and subject to the following Terms and Conditions (‘Competition’).
2. Participation in this Competition constitutes an acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry.
4. The Competition commences at 4.00pm on Friday 2 June 2017 and ends at 11.59pm on Friday 18
August 2017 (‘Competition Period’).
5. Eligible participants in this Competition must be Victorian residents aged eighteen (18) years of age
and over (‘Participants’).
6. This Competition comprises of thirty-three (33) prize draws; including twenty-four (24) weekly AFL
Ticket draws, eight (8) Minor Prize Draws and one (1) Major Prize Draw.
TO ENTER:
7. Participants who purchase one (1) pint of Carlton Draught from Lagerfield or CrownBet Sportsbar
at Crown during the Competition Period will receive one (1) purchase receipt detailing a qualifying
purchase receipt number (‘Qualifying Number’).
8. A maximum of one (1) purchase receipt is permitted per Participant per day during the Competition
Period, regardless of how many purchases are made by the Participant on that day.
9. To
enter,
Participants
must
complete
the
online
entry
form
at
www.crownmelbourne.com.au/aflwin with their name, address, phone number, e-mail address,
Date of Birth, Qualifying Number and date of Carlton Draught purchase.
10. For the purposes of each weekly draw, last entries into the Competition must be received no later
than 11.59pm the Sunday night prior to the draw. With the exception of the draw of 21 August
2017, whereby last entries must be received no later than 11.59pm Friday 18 August 2017.
11. Participants must retain their purchase receipt with the Qualifying Number, in case it is required as
proof of purchase pursuant to clause 15.
12. No other method of entry will be accepted.
13. A copy of these Terms and Conditions will be available at Lagerfield and CrownBet Sportsbar for the
duration of the Competition and online at www.crownmelbourne.com.au/aflwin.
PRIZE DRAWS:
14. Prize draws will be randomly drawn via a computerised online platform at the Crown Marketing
Offices at the Crown Entertainment Complex, 8 Whiteman Street, Southbank, VIC 3006 on the
following days (Draw Day):
a. Monday 5 June 2017;
b. Monday 12 June 2017;
c. Monday 19 June 2017;
d. Monday 26 June 2017;
e. Monday 3 July 2017;
f. Monday 10 July 2017;
g. Monday 17 July 2017;
h. Monday 24 July 2017;
i. Monday 31 July 2017;
j. Monday 7 August 2017;
k. Monday 14 August 2017; and
l. Monday 21 August 2017.
15. All Participants that are drawn pursuant to clause 14, 17, 18 or clauses 21-23 (‘Drawn Participants’)
must produce a photograph or hard copy of their qualifying purchase receipt containing the
Qualifying Number (or other evidence of proof of purchase acceptable to Crown at its discretion),
to Crown Marketing either by email, SMS, post or in person (as agreed to by the Drawn Participant
and Crown Marketing) within six (6) days of being notified by Crown pursuant to clause 29.
16. Subject to providing proof of purchase pursuant to clause 15, the first two (2) eligible Drawn
Participants drawn each Monday will be declared the AFL Ticket Winner (‘AFL Ticket Winner’).
17. A third draw will take place on each date set out in clause 26 and, subject to providing proof of
purchase pursuant to clause 15, the third valid entry drawn on each date will be declared a Minor
Prize Winner (‘Minor Prize Winner’) of the Competition for that draw.

18. On Monday 21 August 2017 a third draw will take place and, subject to providing proof of purchase
pursuant to clause 15, the valid entry drawn will be declared the Major Prize Winner (‘Major Prize
Winner’) of the Competition.
19. Participants are not required to be present at the time of the prize draw to claim their prize.
20. Entries will not be removed between draws or re-draws, unless drawn.
RE-DRAWS
21. In the event that a Drawn Participant has not produced their purchase receipt with the Qualifying
Number (or other evidence acceptable to Crown, pursuant to clause 15) or Crown has been unable
to contact them within six (6) days of the applicable Draw Day, a First Re-draw will be conducted at
1.00pm on the seventh day after the relevant Draw Day (being Monday 12 June 2017, Monday 19
June 2017, Monday 26 June 2017, Monday 3 July 2017, Monday 10 July 2017, Monday 17 July
2017, Monday 24 July 2017, Monday 31 July 2017, Monday 7 August 2017, Monday 14 August
2017, Monday 21 August 2017 or Monday 28 August 2017, as applicable) in the Crown Marketing
Offices at the Crown Entertainment Complex, 8 Whiteman Street, Southbank, VIC 3006.
22. In the event that a Drawn Participant of a First Re-draw has not produced their purchase receipt
with the Qualifying Number (or other evidence acceptable to Crown, pursuant to clause 15) or
Crown has been unable to contact them within six (6) days of the First Re-Draw, a Second Re-draw
will be conducted from 1.00pm on the seventh day subsequent to any First Re-Draw (being
Monday 19 June 2017, Monday 26 June 2017, Monday 3 July 2017, Monday 10 July 2017, Monday
17 July 2017, Monday 24 July 2017, Monday 31 July 2017, Monday 7 August 2017, Monday 14
August 2017, Monday 21 August 2017, Monday 28 August 2017, or Monday 4 September 2017, as
applicable) in the Crown Marketing Offices at the Crown Entertainment Complex, 8 Whiteman
Street, Southbank, VIC 3006.
23. In the event that a Drawn Participant of a Second Re-draw has not produced their purchase receipt
with the Qualifying Number (or other evidence acceptable to Crown, pursuant to clause 15) or
Crown has been unable to contact them within six (6) days of the Second Re-Draw, a Third Re-draw
will be conducted from 1.00pm on the seventh day subsequent to any Second Re-Draw (being
Monday 26 June 2017, Monday 3 July 2017, Monday 10 July 2017, Monday 17 July 2017, Monday
24 July 2017, Monday 31 July 2017, Monday 7 August 2017, Monday 14 August 2017, Monday 21
August 2017, Monday 28 August 2017, Monday 4 September 2017 or Monday 11 September 2017,
as applicable) in the Crown Marketing Offices at the Crown Entertainment Complex, 8 Whiteman
Street, Southbank, VIC 3006.
24. In the event that a Drawn Participant of a Third Re-draw has not produced their purchase receipt
with the Qualifying Number (or other evidence acceptable to Crown, pursuant to clause 15) or
Crown has been unable to contact them within six (6) days of the Third Re-Draw, the prize will be
forfeited.
PRIZE PACKAGE:
25. Subject to clause 15, the two (2) valid AFL Ticket Winners drawn for each draw, or any subsequent
re-draws relating to it, will each receive 2 transferable AFL tickets (valued at $30 each ticket).
26. Subject to clause 15, the Minor Prize Winners from the Minor Prize draw, or any subsequent redraws relating to it, will receive the prize as outlined below relating to the applicable Draw Days
below:
a. One (1) Ice Box (valued at $149.95 each) will be won on:
i. Monday 5 June 2017;
ii. Monday 12 June 2017;
iii. Monday 3 July 2017; and
iv. Monday 17 July 2017.
b. One (1) Dart Board (valued at $99.95 each) will be won on:
i. Monday 10 July 2017; and
ii. Monday 31 July 2017.
c. One (1) Foosball Table (valued at $249.95 each) will be won on:
i. Monday 19 June; and

ii. Monday 14 August 2017.
27. Subject to clause 15, the Major Prize Winner from the Major Prize draw, or any subsequent redraws relating to it, will receive one (1) official framed Carlton Draught AFL jersey, signed by all
eighteen (18) AFL Club Captains from the 2017 AFL Captain’s Day tickets (valued at $2,000).
28. The total prize value for this Competition is $4,739.60.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL PATRONS:
29. Drawn Participants will be contacted on the Day on which they are drawn pursuant to clauses 1618 and 21-23, in writing via email and via telephone and requested to provide proof of purchase
pursuant to clause 15.
30. Winners must collect their prize from Lagerfield, during Lagerfield’s operating hours, no later than
Friday 29 September 2017. If unable to collect the prize within the stipulated time, the prize will be
deemed forfeited.
31. The prizes (including any part thereof) are strictly not negotiable, transferable or redeemable for
cash or any other goods and services.
32. Details of the winners of prizes valued over $1,000 will be published on Crown’s website
(crownmelbourne.com.au) on Tuesday 29 August 2017 for twenty-eight (28) days. If a re-draw is
required, the details of the re-draw prize winners valued over $1,000 will be published on Crown’s
website (crownmelbourne.com.au) on Tuesday 19 September 2017 for twenty-eight (28) days.
33. In the event that the prize draw cannot be conducted at the specified time due to unforeseen
circumstances outside Crown’s reasonable control, the affected prize draw will take place as soon
as is practicable after the delay has been resolved.
34. If the prize (or any part thereof) is unavailable for any reason at the time of the prize draw, Crown
will instead award the winner a similar prize of equivalent value (as determined by Crown).
35. Crown reserves the right and license to use a selected Participant’s name, suburb, photograph,
image and likeness for the purpose of promoting and advertising Crown and the Crown
Entertainment Complex.
36. Crown will handle Participants’ personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)
and
Crown’s
privacy
policy
which
is
available
at
http://www.crownmelbourne.com.au/general/privacy-policy.
37. Subject to clauses 9, 29, 32, 35 and 36 Participants’ personal information obtained in relation to
this Competition is for the sole use of identifying Participants and winners of the Competition and
will not be disclosed to any other organisations outside of the Competition, unless such disclosure
is required by law.
38. Crown shall not be liable in any way if entries are unavailable as a result of technical malfunction or
operator fault.
39. Subject to law, Crown (including its employees, agents and contractors) has no liability to any
person for injury (including death), loss or damage whatsoever howsoever arising in connection
with this Competition (including the awarding, condition, use or misuse of the prizes). This clause
does not apply to the extent that Crown’s liability (if any) arises from an act or omission of Crown in
respect of its supply of services and/or goods to the prize winner in the ordinary course of Crown’s
business.
40. Crown may cancel or modify the Competition, but will only do so if this is unavoidable (for
example, if the Competition cannot run for technical or administrative reasons that cannot be
rectified). Crown will update these Terms and Conditions as soon as is practicable if this occurs. If
the Competition is cancelled, Crown may select the winner from eligible entries received at the
time of cancellation, if appropriate to do so in the circumstances.
41. This Competition including the redemption of the prizes are only available to persons aged
eighteen (18) years and over, who are not prohibited from entering the Crown Entertainment
Complex for any reason.
42. Where a prize winner is not able to redeem any part of the prize due to physical inability or
incapacity, poor weather or any other circumstances beyond Crown’s or the prize provider’s
reasonable control, then that part of the prize will be forfeited and is not redeemable for cash or
any other prize, goods or services.

43. This Competition is not open to Participants or other persons excluded from the casino pursuant to
the provisions of the Casino Control Act 1991 (Vic) or who are otherwise prohibited from entering
the Crown Entertainment Complex for any reason, including persons who become prohibited
before or after the prize draw (up to the time of receipt or collection of the prize package by the
prize winner).
44. Crown’s decision in connection with any aspect of this Competition will be binding and final on
every Participant.
45. Any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification of any
Participant.
46. Third Party terms and conditions may apply in relation to the AFL tickets, including blackout dates.
47. Disqualification will be at Crown’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
48. Employees of the Crown Group of Companies, including: Crown Resorts, Crown Melbourne, Crown
Perth, CrownBet and Betfair are not permitted to participate in this Competition.
49. Crown practises the responsible service of alcohol.
