3. Why are you interested in serving as an LAWAC YP Board member?
4. Based on your personal and professional interests and background, which two committees
would you be best suited for (please review attached committee document for details) and

5. How do you work in a team setting? Have you demonstrated the ability to be both a leader and a
follower in your previous volunteer or work roles? Please elaborate.
6. What value do you think you can add to the LAWAC YP Program? What specific skills can you
contribute to the board?
7. What types of programs would you like to see? If you were to plan an event, what would you suggest
and do you have any connections/resources to make this event happen?
8. Are you able to commit time to the YP Program and meet the YP Board requirements: attend 9/12
monthly Board meetings, attend committee meetings (as scheduled), and help plan and attend a
majority of the YP events? Would you be willing to stay on the YP Board for over 1 year?
