6. Overview of estimated budget allocation
The financial details for each pest included in the Survey Programme 2016 are presented in the
online IT Tool for Plant Health Survey 2016
1. The overall estimated budget for Survey Programme 2016 in___________(MS name) has a
total amount of _________ (amount) EURO, where:.
a) The total estimated costs for the official staff activities are of __________ (amount)
EURO, with 7 % overheads of _________ (amount) EURO.
b) The total estimated costs for the contracted activities are of ________ (amount)
EURO.
2. The total estimated costs for each priority group included in the Survey Programme 2016 are
presented in Table 7. The figures give an overview of the budgeted direct expenses relating to
both the total and to each of the four priority groups specified in the EU guidance document for
preparing the dossier.

7. Targets for Survey Programme 2016
Examples of different targets for Surveys Programme
2016
a) To improve knowledge of the phytosanitary status of citrus crops, deciduous
trees, olive trees and other not yet prospected crops. Reliable data need to be
given on the percentages of absence/presence pests per priority group.
b) Gather information about the pest status, distribution and prevalence of the
different harmful organisms throughout the years by making a comparison
(quantitative analysis: Pest Incidence, Pest commodity distribution) between
Survey Programme 2015 and 2016.
☐
☐
c) To improve knowledge about the prospected harmful organisms and the risk
that they pose in National and European level.
☐
d) To obtain data on the risks of specific types of import (type of import, pests
per import type) and monitoring of the follow‐up of interceptions.
☐
e) Develop guidance documents and procedure protocols for the correct
prospection of every harmful organism.
☐
f) Involve growers and stakeholders in the surveillance procedure and raise
awareness of the risk that harmful organisms pose.
☐
g) Create a surveillance network capable to detect early outbreaks of harmful
organisms.
☐
h) To develop and to improve Contingency Plans.
