OMEGA’s OM-34E recorder
interface is a unique device that
converts your standard Epson
compatible printer into a strip chart
recorder. You can economically
trend thermocouple, RTD, voltage,
process current and strain gage
input signals on your existing printer
without having to buy an expensive
flatbed or vertical multi-point chart
recorder. The OM-34E is small,
portable, easy to set up, and it
produces full sized graphs on low
cost standard fan-fold printer paper.
The Model OM-34E-PC-LINK has
an additional factory installed PC
link that connects the OM-34E
directly to a PC. The PC can then
be used to monitor the process
variables connected to the OM-34E.
Two OM-34E interface modules can
be connected to the OM-34E for a
total of eight channels of recording.
When two interface modules are
specified, both modules should be
the same type, e.g., two OM-34-TC1
thermocouple interface modules.
Also, if power is interrupted while the
OM-34E is in printing mode, the unit
will remember all configuration data
and will resume printing when power
is restored without operator
intervention.
