Turn off the computer.
Remove the cover of the PC.
Install the IEEE-1394 TO PCI Host Adapter into a vacant PCI slot. Replace the
PC’s cover
.Install IEEE-1394 TO PCI Host Adapter driver Windows® 98

At boot up, Windows® 98 will automatically detect the new hardware on the IEEE1394 TO PCI Host Adapter. These procedures require both the Windows® 98 Setup
CD-ROM, and you will be prompted on when to insert CD-ROM.

In response to the message at boot up referring to Add New Hardware Wizard, insert the
Windows® 98 Setup CD-ROM into the drive, follow the procedures the system prompt.
Verify the IEEE-1394 TO PCI Host
Adapter

Click My Computer icon by right-button
of mouse.
Choose Properties item.
Select Device Manager selection
Double click the 1394 BUS Controller
item.
And check PCI OHCI Compliant IEEE
1394 Host Controller works properly.
