Grannys Pies and Cakes supplies a range of products using various different types of

packaging review, the covenant team have grouped them into the following three
categories.

Approximately 50% of our products are wrapped in perforated 15 um polyester heat sealable
printed film. 10% of our product is packed in plain, 15 um clear generic film with thermo printed
labeling. The remaining 40% is sold frozen unwrapped layer packed into cartons.
Moulded Plastic Trays
Grannys uses Thermo Formed PVC trays made to comply with AS 2070.2 (Plastic material for
food contact use).
Cardboard Boxes
Carton products are all made from corrugated cardboard and are purchased from signatories to
the NPC.
