7 Setting up a secondary user Business Internet Banking enables the primary user to delegate all or part of his/her access rights to any individual of his/her choice. It also enables the primary user to grant secondary users authority to set up management control services for other users. 1 Access Business Internet Banking. 2 On any of the pages click ‘Services’. 3 Click ‘Create User’. 4 Enter secondary user information. If dual authorisation is to be exercised, the signature group should be either ‘A’, ‘B’ or ‘None of the above’. For simple authorisation, the signature group set-up only is required if the company requires trade transaction services. 5 Tick only the services that the secondary user is allowed to use. 6 Tick the accounts that the secondary user is allowed to access and enter the corresponding daily transaction limits. 7 Click ‘GO’. 20 7 8 Click ‘Confirm’. 9 The secondary user will receive an activation PIN and a Security Device via mail. Primary user is required to acknowledge receipt of the PIN and device on behalf of the secondary user via Business Internet Banking. If you are enrolled in MPF services, please proceed to section 9 to set up the users’ access right to MPF services. Notes: (1) If there are two primary users in the Business Internet Banking portfolio, the authority of the secondary user created by either the primary user (in terms of account access and daily transaction limit) cannot exceed the authority of any of the two primary users. (2) If you wish to grant daily limit/signature group to users who are not authorised signatories of your company’s account, please create such users with zero daily limits and click ‘none of the above’ under signature group and then complete and submit the necessary form.
