Supplementary Regulations
This event will be held under the provisions of the National Sporting Code of Motorsport New Zealand and any relevant
regulations prescriptions or specifications relating thereto as contained in the current NZ Motorsport Manual and amendments,
HBCC Speed Regulations and these Supplementary Regulations.

The Permit is for a Clubsport Advanced Bent Sprint. Minimum License Requirements for this event are Club
Membership of a Motorsport NZ affiliated Club and a Clubsport License.

The MINIMUM number of entries for this event to run is 15, if this number has not been received by the Thursday
25tht July 2016; Organisers reserve the right to cancel the event. All entries must be on an Official HB Car Club
Entry Form.

previously also done Waikoau Rd the dual weekend cost will be $105.00 per day

ENTRIES CLOSE at 9.15am on the day of the event.

Scrutineering and Documentation is from 8.30 am until 9.30 am at the venue and is in accordance with the current
Motorsport Manual. All cars must be presented at scrutineering in a clean and tidy condition. Vehicles will be
scrutineered to Schedule A.

POINTS: for each class, based on overall class placing in each Round, will be allocated to each driver as outlined

In addition, bonus points will be added to points gained overall based on the drivers overall position in final results of
each round as follows:

6.
Drivers Briefing will be at approx. 9.45 am. This is compulsory for all drivers. One practice run will commence
immediately after drivers briefing. The event proper will start immediately after practice; consisting of three official
runs, time allowing more runs may be held.
Each run will consist of 2.5km in each direction, at the end of the road the car will break a beam, this will trigger the red
light allowing a set amount of time to turn around before a red light will change to green to start the competitor’s run
back, the total time for each run will then be shown as everyone will have the same amount of turning time included. A
further explanation of this and a tiki-tour will happen before practice begins.
7.
Directions to the venue: FROM HASTINGS: Head out from Stortford Lodge on Omahu Rd to Fernhill, at the Fernhill
Intersection procedd ahead onto Swamp Rd, follow Swamp Rd for 7.8km then turn left onto Moteo Pa Rd.
FROM TARADALE: Travel on Puketapu Rd for approx 10kms then turn onto Moteo Pa Rd.
8.
Unofficial Practice or Reece on the venue prior to the event is PROHIBITED, the residents have been instructed to
inform the event Organiser and provide a description of the vehicle. If you are found to be doing this, your entry will
NOT be accepted. The HBCC Committee is treating this unacceptable behaviour seriously and you may find you are
also excluded from other events.
9.
No alcohol is to be consumed by competitors or their crew as this will result in immediate expulsion from the event.
10. Prize giving will be at the HB Car Club Clubrooms, food and refreshments will be available.
Please note: Carriage of Passengers
Passengers may be carried at the discretion of the Clerk of Course provided that Appendix 5, Schedule C, Part 1, Art 6 is adhered to:

All vehicles carrying passengers shall be fitted with the following equipment, which must comply with Appendix 2, Schedule A: - Rollcage, - Both
front seats, - four, five or six point safety harness for both occupants.

Passengers shall wear safety apparel as specified in the safety schedule contained in Appendix 2, Schedule A.

All passengers shall be briefed on basic event safety procedures, how to correctly wear and subsequently uncouple the safety harness and shall sign the
Passenger Indemnity and Declaration Form prior to their participation.

Passengers under the age of 16 are not permitted unless they hold a Motorsport NZ authorised minors licence, and between 12 and 16 years must
present either a valid Junior Competition Licence or an underage indemnity form signed by a parent or guardian.

Passengers may be changed between runs.
