Monday Night Mulligans
Baraboo Country Club Golf League
When:
Monday evenings at 5:30pm.
Dates:
June 12th through August 28th.
Format:
2-Man Teams comprised of an A and B player. Stroke play. Handicapped.
You will play another twosome each week with you’re a player against their A player and same for the B
players. Stroke play will determine the winner of A vs. A and B vs. B for a point a piece and then a 3rd
point can be with team total.
In summary, there are a total of three points available to your team each week. If you’re a player beats
their A player you get a point. If your B player beats their B player you get a point. If your combined A &
B player score is better than their combined A & B player score you get a point. Ties will result in ½
point to each team.
Handicaps:
We will be using a very simple equation which will award you a handicap that is 80% of your scoring
average. Week one will simply be 80% of whatever you shoot that day.
Mulligans:
You may take one mulligan per round. However, if you hit a mulligan, that ball is automatically in play,
and you may not elect to play your first ball.
Cost:
$25/week gets you 9 holes with a cart and your first beer on us each week. You will also contribute $5 a
week to the prize kitty.
So, 11 weeks comes to $330 payable prior to your first round on June 12th.
Prizes:
Low Net Round each week wins $20 (Golf Shop credit)
2 Flag events each week are worth $10 each (Golf Shop credit)
At the end of the season we will award the 1st and 2nd place teams regarding total accumulated points.
These numbers are subject to change based on the number of golfers we end up with.
Substitutes:
You are responsible for finding your own subs but they will not be asked to pay for anything as the
league is already paid for. It is up to you if you wish to recuperate your money from them.
Teams:
We are going to limit the league to 36 golfers or 18 teams. If we are fortunate enough to fill the league
that would put one foursome on each hole.
Benefits:
All league participants will receive 10% off all other tee times booked at the BCC during the 2017 season.
You will also receive 25% off all soft goods and 15% off all hard goods in the Golf Shop!
