RISO releases the world’s first A2 digital duplicator
RISO, the pioneer in digital printing, has just opened up a new stream of opportunities for the
print and graphics industry with the launch of the world’s first A2 digital duplicator.
Offering high-quality, low-cost, easy-to-use printing, the RISO digital duplicator has become
more popular than ever on the professional printing scene.
They are also incredibly popular within the graphics world with art schools and colleges
embracing their ‘stencil’ process which is unique and highly effective.
Previously, A3 had been the largest paper size for printing on digital duplicators but RISO’s
latest innovation has changed that.
The RISO A2 is equipped with the state-of-the-art technology and is ideal for a wide range of
applications in commercial printing including short-run newspapers, flyers and leaflets.
A2 is one of the most commonly used formats in commercial print. RISO’s A2 duplicator allows
4 x A4 multi-up printing which saves production time.
The cost-effective master and no costly or expensive pre-press preparation means the larger
the number of the copies needed, the lower the printing unit price. This feature enables users
to print large quantities at a very low cost.
It also offers high-resolution printing at 600dpi, and can print at a speed of 100 sheets per
minute, regardless of the paper size. It is a solution that enables anyone to easily print large
quantities both quickly and at a low running cost.
At 1,000 sheets in only 10 minutes, users can deliver on time even when the work has to be
done on a tight schedule.
Easy to operate, the RISO A2 is ready to use as soon as it is powered up, and the make-ready
time is just 60 seconds. There are 21 standard colours and in addition customers can custom
order specific colors, such as their corporate color.
