At “Interzum 2015” – the innovations event for international
suppliers of the furniture industry and interior fitting sector, held on
5 to 8 May 2015, Ninkaplast GmbH of Bad Salzuflen will be surprising
its visitors with a new, self-contained accessory label: “Essenza”.
Conceived and developed in cooperation with consumers, this
product range offers ingenious retrofit solutions for national and
international specialised traders and retailers who are looking for
high-turnover, user-friendly everyday aids.
Higher costs, increasing urbanisation and a longer life expectancy result
in a reduction in living space and open space for each and every one of
us. For many people, hectic living conditions, widely spread patchwork
families and the pressures of work turn the concept of a healthy work-life
balance on its head. And women, who are often also “responsible” for
domestic well-being, are not the only ones who are particularly exposed to
these growing stress factors.

“Wasteboy” meets the approval of modern customers
The best evidence of this is the “Wasteboy”, which is already on the
market. After its introduction at the previous event in Cologne, this waste
collection product exceeded all expectations right from day one. The
compact unit – suitable for sink base units that are at least 40 cm wide –
has a combined capacity of 16 plus 16 (two-way separation) or 16 plus
two times seven litres (three-way separation). The three-part telescopic
structure of the bins allows particularly compact packaging of the unit and
all loose parts – including drill template, assembly instructions and fixing
materials – all in one box. 27 of these boxes can be stored and
transported on one Euro-pallet. This makes them easy to dispatch and
saves space.
The “Wasteboy” reflects the general trend of modern kitchen customers’
requirements in every respect: Mobility, speed, sustainability, selffulfilment and a touch of fun. This makes it a practical and authentic

The innovative “Essenza” product “Bioboy” pays particular attention to the
important consumer issues of ergonomics and economy. It allows a small,
4.2-litre waste bin with mounting strip to be clipped onto the edge of any
kitchen front (16 to 22 mm thick) below the worktop, without the use of
tools. This practical bio-waste collector is then ready to use for collecting
peelings temporarily and transferring them later, or in between times, to a
larger bin. Available in several shades of grey, this tool is particularly
clean and hygienic, since it has the added advantages of a tightly fitting lid
and an easy-clean design.
