VU # 224
1. Sing a happy hallelujah, sing it out with heart and style,
we’re the echo of God’s laughter, we’re the image of God’s smile.
Refrain: Hallelujah, all creation, hallelujah, everyone! Hallelujah, all creation,
hallelujah everyone!
2. We’re the proof of God’s good humour, we’re the twinkle in God’s
eye, made to shine, reflect the glory, given light and space to fly.

Song: “God of the Sparrow” verses 1,2,3
VU #229
1. God of the sparrow, God of the whale, God of the swirling stars,
How does the creature say awe, how does the creature say praise.
2. God of the earthquake, God of the storm, God of the trumpet blast,
How does the creature cry woe, how does the creature cry save.
Prayer for our World:
Creating God, you are present in the whole universe
and in the smallest of your creatures. With tenderness, you embrace all that
exists. Teach us to discover the worth of each thing,
to be filled with awe and contemplation, to recognize that we are profoundly
united with every creature. Awaken our praise and thankfulness for every being
that you have made. Show us our place in this world as channels of your love
for all beings of this earth,
for not one of them is forgotten in your sight. Amen. (Pope Francis, adapted)
Celebrating our Young People
Song: “Standin’ in the Need of Prayer” (adapted)
It's me, it's me, it's me, O Lord,
Standin' in the need of prayer.
It's me, it's me, it's me, O Lord,
Standin' in the need of prayer.
It’s my family, it’s my neighbour, and it's me, O Lord,
Standin' in the need of prayer.
It’s my family, it’s my neighbour, and it's me, O Lord,
Standin' in the need of prayer.
It’s your church, it’s your creation, and it's me, O Lord,
Standin' in the need of prayer.
It’s your church, it’s your creation, and it's me, O Lord,
Standin' in the need of prayer.
