30 funded hours from September 2017
As you will be aware, the government will be increasing the early years funding to 30 hours from
September 2017. At present, the rate set for nurseries is below what it costs many to run their
provisions at a high standard and therefore means that many will be having to subsidise the cost.

Congratulations to Emma and Steve who got married on Saturday 24th September at Chalk
Farm. Emma looked sensational in her dress and the venue was beautiful. The lovely couple are
now enjoying a honeymoon in Cyprus! Emma will be back to nursery on Monday 10th October.
Administration – Funding *PLEASE READ*
There is a shortfall in the EYEE funding this funding period (Sept –
Dec) and therefore the last funded day will be Monday 19th December.
The last two days of the term Tues 20th and Wed 21st will therefore
not be covered by funding.
If you access a completely funded place or if you joined us during this
funding period (i.e. after 6th September) you will be contacted
separately if this affects you. Please note the following excerpt from
our EYEE Funding Terms and Conditions:‘Occasionally the term may be a few days longer than the funding period. In this
case you will be required to pay for all the hours booked on the unfunded days.’
If this causes you a problem financially, please contact the office.
