Background of BSPK
• BSPK is an organization of independent trade
unions united Kosovo, voluntarily affiliated with the
purpose of protecting and realizing the rights and
freedoms of members of their union
• in conditions of democratic pluralism, the
implementation of economic reforms and a
market economy, committed to creating an anti
corruption society, without privileges and
discrimination, regardless of national, racial,
gender, social, religious beliefs, political, etc..
• Providing a contemporary democratic legislation
that sanctions and protects the rights of
workers by making concrete proposals to
legislative bodies;
The main objectives
• Protection of the right to free choice of profession,
job, raising the educational level and professional
qualification by place of work ;
• Protection of members from bureaucratic actions,
arbitrary or outs (exceptions) of unfair work by the
employer ;
• Mutual cooperation and solidarity with local and
international unions ;
• Mutual cooperation with the Government and
employers within the partnership
• A commitment to creating a social state with social
justice
Tools of the trade union
action
• Trade union activity and continuous social dialogue
between social partners ;
• Drafting and signing of collective agreements, at
national, sectoral and enterprise ;
• Provision of a pluralistic democratic spirit of full
trade union activity ;
• Organize contacts, meetings, conversations,
gatherings, meetings, organizing protests to strike .
