Remove Ants
Mix equal quantities of white sugar and borax (Available in the washing powder aisle of most
grocers). Put it into a shaker, or make your own container using an old coffee jar with holes
punched in the lid. Shake a little on any ant hill. This works by ants taking the sugar/borax
mix back to the nest which kills the queen.
If you have a large number of ant hills, keep the jar by the door and sprinkle a little on the ant
hills on your walks around your garden. It does not kill the plants. It might take a couple of
years to kill the ants.
