Christmas Service
Risen Savior’s Christmas service is on Sunday, December 13 in the 10:30 service at St. Paul’s. Please
make sure your child is at St. Paul’s by 10:00. If you child is involved with the pre-service music, please
have them to St. Paul’s by 9:45.
Cheerleading T-shirts
Risen Savior has purchased a number of t-shirts for our cheerleaders which will keep on stock for future
years. The total cost was $220.25. If you would like to donate any amount to help cover some of the cost,
please feel free to do so. Our young ladies will look sharp in their cheerleading outfits!
Church Singing
Grades 4-8 will sing on Wednesday, December 9 in the 4:00 service at St. Paul’s. Please have your child

Trash into Cash
Keep saving your trash labels, box tops, etc. to turn them into cash for Risen Savior. There are bins at
both churches as well as in the classrooms. Money raised with this trash cash will go toward purchasing
lockers. On Thursday, December 10 we have our next “Clip and Count” night at St. Paul’s. We will start
at 6:30. Please consider helping out for the entire night or for a little while so it does not take as long.
Basketball Games
Although the basketball teams have their first tournament games on December 12, our first regular season
game is Monday, December 14 at Mount Olive. The B-team game will start at 3:00, and the A-team
game will start around 4:00. On Tuesday, December 8 we have our home opener vs. St. Paul’s, New
Ulm. The B-team game will start at 4:15, and the A-team game will start at 5:15. On Thursday,
December 17, the A-team will travel to Northrop for a game starting at 4:00. The B-team will not
practice that day.
Christmas Party
Friday, December 18 is our last day of school for 2009! We will have a Christmas party at St. Paul’s and
dismiss at 11:30. Drop off your child at St. Paul’s right away in the morning. We will have a whole
school chapel service to begin our day. Then each classroom will have their separate little parties. We
will come together for the end of the day for a pizza lunch and a movie/game. Please make arrangements
so that your child is picked up from St. Paul’s at 11:30.
Fundraiser Opportunity
We have a new ongoing fundraiser. Go to www.magickidsusa.com for discounted kids clothing. Use the
discount code MK00109-CO-009 and 10% of the purchase price will be donated to our school. Please
note, the MK and the CO are the only letters, the rest are numbers. Tell you friends, your neighbors, your
grandparents, etc. about this. This fundraiser is no extra cost to you. If you are buying children’s clothing
anyway, check out the website. If you have more questions about this, speak with Mr. Jaeger.
