6. Staff to support fundamental mission of program, competitive coach swimmer ratio’s and high
school swim
YTD Team Accomplishments
1. 25% increase in team growth
a. Dramatic increases in lemon/hammer/mako program (future of team)
b. Dramatic increase in Master Swimmers
c. Increases in swimmer participation across the board
2. Hired additional full time head developmental coach
a. Note: the sharks are the only team in our area with 3 full time coaches.
3. Moved to Updated Website Platform
a. Upgraded to on-line registration
i. Accept credit cards
ii. Easy, convenient 24 hour access to event sign-up and info
iii. Less paperwork
b. Upgraded to New Team Unify Events Management System
c. Automated attendance tracking
4. Negotiated, budgeted and implemented comprehensive health care coverage to ensure staff
retention and assist in future staffing recruitment.
5. Created multi-year equipment plan and budget
a. Purchased underwater camera
b. Purchased pace clock/relay start system
c. Purchased new Sound System – in conjuntion with High School (shared expense/use)
d. Complete check out of Colorado Timing system (touch pads, Swimmer five, connectors
etc)
e. Purchased i-pad for coaches to facilitate attendance tracking and team communication
6. Budgeted for future pool space acquistion to accommodate future team growth
7. Budgeted for continued coach training – full-time coaches to attend fall Olympic Year ASCA
conference .
8. Submitted paperwork and achieved USA level 2 Swim rating, we are just shy of hitting Level 3
and hope to be there by the end of 2012 Short Course
9. Hosted numerous social/team building functions including travel meets.
10. Dramatic increase in home meet attendance; meet income up by 50%.
