“ ANNA TRIVENI YOJANA”
FOOD GRAINS TO ST GIRLS :

Benefit of the scheme is given to the
tribal girls whose attendance is
more then 70% during the term.
•
This benefit extended for the two
tribal girls in the family.
•
60kg (per term 30 kg) food gains (10
kg wheat,10 kg Rice, 10 kg. Corn) is
given to the tribal girls.

Criteria : must have more than 70 %
annual attendance
SUKHADI :
• It aims to enhance calorie and
protein intake to students.
• Sukhadi recipe is approved by
the CFTRI & nutrition experts
is being served once in a

• It is prepared using wheat,
jeggery and oil.
• provision in 2016-17 budget is
R. 3650 Lakh.

It is customary in Gujarat to host public dinner on festival
days or social occasions like
1. Marriage anniversary
2. Birth anniversary
3. Death anniversary
4. Any special occasion like any educational or social
achievement like ranking first in school, promotion etc.
It is also very common that in many villages sweets are
distributed in people on the occasion of birth of a child or
success in exam etc.
Taking advantage of the above social values , GOG has
started TITHIBHOJAN yojana .
How TITHIBHOJAN yojana works
• In Each village people are educated for this
yojana
• Sarpanch of gram panchayat , political leaders
, social leaders , principal of the school,
economically rich people in the community
gives contribution in TITHIBHOJAN YOJANA.
• Per month at least 5 to 10 TITHIBHOJAN
donors are listed in each village.

• laddu,sukhadi,shrikhand etc.
3. They give farsan /namkeen .

cum store will construct out of that 1032 kitchen cum store
are proposed in budget.
Breakfast and MDM for Std. 12 students of Model day
school
To provide scheme 200 ml. flavoured milk is served 5
days in a week, the scheme is implemented to provide
flavoured milk to 604956 children of 26 developing
talukas of 12districts.

Construction of MDM Kitchen cum store
• In the year 2016-17 total 25077 kitchen cum stores are
approved and 24303 is completed.
• 7 kitchen cum stores are in progress but 767 kitchen cum stores
for space for construction is not available. Hence it is difficult.
• Now remaining total 1507 kitchen cum store will construct out
of that 1032 kitchen cum store are proposed in budget.
• provision is Rs.2669.95 lakhs in the year 2017-18.

MDM for Std. 12 students of Model day school
• Model School scheme has been launched from year 2014-15
.Total 72 model schools are in different districts of the state.
• In model School mid day meals and nutritious snacks is given
to the children from std. 6 to 11. This year this benefit is
extended for Nutritious meals and snacks toStd. 12 Students.
• Provision is Rs. 64.28 lakhs for mid day meal and Rs. 64.28
lakhs for nutritious snacks for the Std.12 beneficiaries in the
72 model schools and total 2160 beneficiaries of Std.12 in the
72 model schools.
• Total Rs.128.56 lakhs budget provision in 2017-18.

Milk in MDM
 Government of Gujarat Provide pasteurized 200 ml.
of milk, 5 days a week to primary school children of
12 districts and 22 Blocks with the cost of Rs.1.00
lakhs for the 2016-17.
 The scheme is implemented to provide flavoured
milk to 604956 children of 26 developing talukas
of 12 districts.
